The Daily Wire is a conservative news and opinion publication and podcast network founded by Ben Shapiro, Jeremy Boreing, and others in 2015. It is among the most-consumed conservative media outlets in the United States. Ben Shapiro's show has a large daily audience across podcast and video platforms. The Daily Wire covers stories that mainstream progressive outlets underreport — Islamic terrorism, antisemitism, and media double standards are recurring topics. Its analysis is explicitly right-of-center and does not pretend neutrality. It is more reliable on Islamic terrorism and antisemitism stories than most mainstream outlets.
**FlyDubai FZ1073 coverage:** The Daily Wire covered the incident accurately and extensively. The Ben Shapiro Show devoted two consecutive episodes to it: 'Everything We Know About the FlyDubai Hijacking Attempt' (Ep. 2516) and 'The Hijacking Story Just Got More Insane. Here\'s The Latest.' (Ep. 2517). Both used 'hijacking' directly and covered the Omani co-pilot\'s radicalization. This is the contrast to outlets that never used the word 'hijacking' in any coverage.
