Katharine Birbalsingh

Katharine Birbalsingh CBE is a British educator and founder and headteacher of Michaela Community School in Wembley, London — widely considered Britain's most successful state school by academic outcomes. She is a Black woman born in New Zealand who has challenged progressive orthodoxies in education including "decolonizing the curriculum." Her school's results provide empirical evidence against progressive educational theories.
