Hasan Piker

Hasan Piker (born Hasan Dogan Piker; streams as "Hasanabi") is a Turkish-American political commentator, Twitch streamer, and Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) member. He is the nephew of Cenk Uygur, founder of The Young Turks. He reaches millions of young left-leaning Americans — making him among the most influential political voices for under-35 voters on the left. His documented record includes a consistent pattern of anti-American, pro-authoritarian, and pro-terrorist-entity statements:

September 12 NYT front page displayed as décor (2026): Framed and prominently displayed in his streaming background the September 12, 2001 New York Times front page showing the Twin Towers burning. Called it his "cutie Cinderella newspaper from 9/11." Display confirmed on streams from July 2026 onward.

Hamas "a thousand times better" than Israel (January 2026): Said "Hamas is a thousand times better than a fascist settler colonial apartheid state" and "I would vote for Hamas over Israel every single time." China trip: "I don't have any patriotism for America" (2026): Livestreamed from Tiananmen Square holding the Chinese national flag, declared "I don't have any patriotism in my heart for America," and said he prefers the Chinese government model. Cuba trip / Treasury subpoena (2026): Traveled to Cuba with CodePink's Medea Benjamin as part of the "Nuestra América Convoy." The US Treasury subpoenaed him over potential sanctions violations. When confronted with Cuba's poverty and rolling blackouts, he blamed US sanctions — not communism. Also said Cubans were "partying in the f****** streets" during an active energy crisis.
