Brigitte Gabriel
ConservativeBrigitte Gabriel (born Nour Saman) is a Lebanese-American author and political commentator, and founder of ACT for America, one of the largest grassroots national security organizations in the United States. She grew up as a Christian in southern Lebanon and describes living in a bomb shelter during the Lebanese Civil War after Islamist militias destroyed her home. Her commentary focuses on radical Islam, sharia law, and the Islamist infiltration of Western institutions. She is the author of Because They Hate (2006) and They Must Be Stopped (2008). Lebanon is her central case study: a country that was majority-Christian, prosperous, and known as "the Paris of the Middle East" before the PLO and Islamist militias systematically destroyed it.
