Ana Kasparian

Ana Kasparian is a journalist, political commentator, and host at The Young Turks (TYT), the American progressive online political commentary network, where she has worked since 2007. TYT covers US domestic politics, economics, and international affairs from an explicitly left-of-center perspective. Kasparian has been one of its most prominent hosts. Her coverage of the Israel-Palestine conflict is consistently critical of Israeli policy. She has been publicly criticized for attributing unrelated Western political events to Israeli influence — including a 2026 post blaming French civil unrest on Israel in a reply to Ben Shapiro — without supplying the causal mechanism by which Israel produced the domestic French conditions.
